While Eisenstein lives it up at a masked ball on the eve of imprisonment, his wife, Rosalinde plans to meet with her lover Alfred. Their plans are thwarted when Alfred, instead of Eisenstein, is arrested and taken off to prison in a case of mistaken identity. Join Helen Todd (Rosalinde) and Michael Mayes (Eisenstein) starring in this lightly staged presentation of Strauss’s high energy comedy, Die Fledermaus, in an evening of high jinks and infectious music! This opera is sung in English with some spoken dialogue. Performed with full orchestra. Also starring Laura Pinto as Adele, Julie Anne Miller as Orlofsky, LaMarcus Miller as Falke, Eric Wassener as Alfred and Reuben Lillie as Frank. Conducted by Bruce Stasyna and directed by Alan Hicks.
